If you've never been pierced somewhere that actually takes its time with you, I get it — a lot of people walk in expecting to be rushed through, jewelry slapped in, and sent on their way. That's not how it works here, and I wanted to walk you through what an appointment actually looks like so nothing feels like a surprise.
Before you even sit down
When you book through our online scheduling, you'll fill out a quick intake and consent form ahead of time — nothing complicated, just some basic info and acknowledgment of the process. A valid ID is required for every appointment, no exceptions. If you're under 18, there's an additional step: a parent or guardian needs to complete a notarized consent form, and depending on your age, they may need to be present too. A card is required to hold your appointment, but it won't be charged unless there's a deposit involved or the cancellation policy comes into play.
The consultation
This is the part I care about most, honestly. Before any needle comes near you, we talk. What are you picturing? Where do you want it, and does your anatomy actually support that placement? What jewelry style fits the look you're going for? I'd rather spend an extra ten minutes here than have you leave with something that doesn't feel right.
The piercing itself
Everything used on you is sterile and single-use — needles, tapers, gloves, all of it, opened fresh in front of you. It's quick. Most piercings themselves take moments; the buildup is usually the longest part, and that's normal.
Before you walk out
You'll leave with clear aftercare instructions, both verbal and written, so you're not trying to remember everything from memory later. And it doesn't stop there — our system automatically checks in with you at the one-week and three-week marks after your appointment, just to see how healing is going. If something looks off in between, you're never left guessing alone.
That's really it. No pressure, no rush, no feeling like a number in line. Just come as you are, and we'll figure out the rest together.
