Ocean Piercing Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment or using this website (www.oceanpiercing.com), you agree to these terms. Please read them before you book.

1. Appointments

Appointments can be booked online through our booking page, over the phone, or in person (walk-in). Walk-ins are welcome when the schedule allows. Our current hours are posted on this website and may change as the studio grows. Appointments outside regular hours are available on request (see Deposits).

2. Deposits

A deposit is collected at the time of booking and applied to the cost of your service.

  • $20 for most appointments.

  • 50% for special-order jewelry. This deposit becomes non-refundable once the order is placed.

  • Up to 50% of the appointment cost for appointments outside regular hours.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. Your deposit is forfeited if you:

  • cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice,

  • do not show up, or

  • arrive 10 minutes or more after your scheduled time.

Forfeited deposits are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another appointment. Rebooking requires a new deposit. Clients with repeated late cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows may be required to pay in full at the time of booking.

4. Pricing & Payment

Prices are listed on our website and may change. Jewelry is priced separately from the piercing. The full balance is due and collected before the procedure begins. We do not offer financing or credit.

5. Stopped, Declined, or Refused Procedures

  • Safety or suitability, before the procedure begins: If we find on arrival that the piercing can't be done, or it's decided not to go ahead before the procedure is underway, you will not be charged and your deposit will be returned.

  • After the procedure begins: Once the procedure is underway, payment is non-refundable, even if the piercing is stopped. Sterile items and supplies are opened for each client and cannot be reused once opened.

  • Right to refuse service: Ocean Piercing reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, or to end an appointment at any time, for any reason, including if we feel unsafe or a client is aggressive, inappropriate, or otherwise makes us uncomfortable. If an appointment is refused or ended for these reasons, the deposit is forfeited, and if the procedure was already underway, the full payment is non-refundable.

6. No Refunds or Exchanges

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges on jewelry or services. The one exception is a piercing that needs to be redone because of a piercer error, which we will re-pierce at no cost.

7. Age, ID & Minors

A valid ID is required for all appointments.

  • Minors need a notarized consent form completed by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Under 16: the parent or guardian must be present with their ID.

  • 16 and older: the parent or guardian does not need to attend, but must provide the notarized consent form and a copy of their ID. The minor brings their own ID.

  • Ear piercings for ages 5–11 require a consultation before booking.

8. Consent Forms & Health

Every client must complete and sign our consent form at the time of booking. It covers the risks and responsibilities of body piercing and collects the personal information we are required to keep for customer records. We may decline or stop a service at any time, as described in section 5.

9. Aftercare

You will receive written aftercare instructions, plus healing check-ins by text or email. Healing depends on following them, and you are responsible for your own aftercare.

10. Jewelry

Implant-grade titanium is our standard, and upgraded titanium options are available. Gold jewelry is available by special order. Beyond the free re-pierce for a piercer error described in section 6, we do not guarantee a piercing's healing or outcome.

11. Messages

We send appointment confirmations, reminders, and aftercare check-ins by text and email. We send marketing messages only if you separately opt in. Reply STOP or use the unsubscribe link at any time. Message and data rates may apply.

12. Photos

By signing our consent form, you acknowledge that we may take photos of your piercing and use them on social media and in marketing, and you give us permission to do so.

13. Website Content

Content on this site is for general information and is not medical advice. All text, images, and branding belong to Ocean Piercing and may not be reused without permission.

14. Changes & Governing Law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version posted on the day you book applies to you. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

15. Acknowledgment

By scheduling an appointment with Ocean Piercing, whether online, by phone, or in person, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
